The painter Imad Fakhry will exhibit his paintings at Alba (salle polyvalente) from the 19th to 25th of October 2016 (Monday to Saturday from 10AM till 7PM).
The opening will take place on Wednesday October 19th, 2016 at 6PM.
About the artist

Born in 1974 at Btedaï (Békaa), Imad Fakhry can be considered as a third-generation artist after his grand-father and his mother, although they were “amateurs”.
In 2000, at the term of five years of studies at the “Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts” –Alba – he got his Master degree in Plastic Arts with excellency and won a scholarship at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Cergy-Paris and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris.
He was awarded an excellency prize by ABN AMRO bank in year 2000.
In 2001, the artist left to Paris and took “decorative painting” and “trompe-l’oeil” courses at the workshop of the famous French artist Yannick Guégan.
This new experience gave him the opportunity to perform many indoor and outdoor decorations for individuals in Lebanon and abroad.
Imad Fakhry has participated at many biennials and group exhibitions and represented Lebanon in the triennial of Rhodes (Greece) in 2008, for etching and engraving.
Since 2003, Imad Fakhry teaches drawing, sketching, etching as well as “trompe-l’oeil” at Alba.
