Flux et Reflux signature, cartoon by Karen Keyrouz,
Diploma project in illustration by Karen Keyrouz (2015). Through the character of Carole, suffering from thalassophobia (phobia of the sea), and his friend Mazen who has him, a phobia of cars, we discover Beirut and these fragilities, by the prism of the psychology of this couple not like the others . "Flux et Reflux" is a dance mixing the intimate and the foreign, the "close-ups" and the monstrous world, the bland present and the devouring memory, the real and the virtual. The medium plays a key role in the narrative, more than fifteen techniques were used in the graphic development of the project.
