UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
To be admitted in the First Year, applicants should fulfill the following requirements:
- Hold the Lebanese Baccalaureate or a certificate recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Education as its equivalent. *
- Pass the tests and interview (see table 1)
- Have their file evaluated and approved

The” Institut Français au Liban” organizes and supervises the French tests. The Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française, level B2, (DELF B2), will be granted to all applicants having passed the test.
Candidates who have obtained one of the following results are exempted from English exams:

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The candidate’s file should include the following documents:
- A filled application form
- A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate certificate or a recognized equivalent issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education * : http://www.mehe.gov.lb
- A report of the applicant’s grades for the last three years of schooling.
- A certificate of good conduct from the last school attended
- A photocopy of the applicant’s identity card, personal record
- Four recent passport-size photographs
- A non-refundable application fee of 233 US.Dollars.

- Applications should be submitted from October 16 to November 29 2019 / from 17 February 2019 t0 13 March 2020 from Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
and from 2pm till 4pm.

To the extent of available places, another session may be scheduled in July 2020.
FOR CANDIDATES RESIDING ABROAD
FOR CANDIDATES RESIDING ABROAD, the dates given above remain valid.
Furthermore, an extra session is planned for them in July 2020.
The application files are accepted till en of June 2020.
Admission tests and interviews : July 9, 2020.
Results: July 14, 2020.
Application files must reach the Secrétariat Général (Office of Admissions and Registration) before July 5, 2020 between 9am and 1pm.
Attention: The candidates will have to have the level DELF B2, due to the fact that Alba is proposing only one session for the tests of French

1- The check issued for the payment of the application fee must be cashable in Beirut.
2- All documents must be certified by the proper authorities before being sent to ALBA.

Tuition Fees
For information only, the average tuition per credit for the academic year 2019-2020 is of 250 US. Dollars.
A regular registration load for an academic year is of 60 ECTS credits
