"LOOKING FOR PRESENT MOTION INTENDS TO EXPLORE THE NATURAL PROCESSES OF CREATION THROUGH DIFFERENT MEDIUMS OF ART."

While understanding and experimenting with the chain of action/reaction and the relative order and randomness of its results, Rami Chahine, Ahlam Dirani and Mme Chandelier question what the right equilibrium is between nature and the human intervention, order and chaos, the constant movement and synchronicity of events falling together in a specific moment.

Through 29 exhibited paintings resulting from a transfer process, Rami Chahine will share a three year experimentation that lead to the most arbitrary yet aesthetically surprising outcome in the form of fossil visuals, which he believes go further then his imagination could ever do.

Ahlam Dirani explores the theme through a Jinen Butoh dance performance shot in the valley of Jannit Qartaba. There are construction plans to flood this specific natural location by building a water dam. This is a prime example of the conflict imposed by mankind on organic canvases.

Through an interactive sound installation, which she refers to as interventional music, Mme chandelier will use the audience to create the composition, from previously recorded samples by laying them up on top of each other, making the piece pseudo random. The laying up concept is analogous to Chahine's use of stencils so the samples really are the colors.
